Swiperr

Privacy Policy · Effective July 7, 2026

Swiperr ("the app") is a photo and video cleanup tool for Android, published under the package name com.devcssi.swiperr. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled. The short version: everything stays on your device, and we collect nothing.

Data we collect

None. Swiperr does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no crash-reporting services. It makes no network connections at all.

Photos and videos

Swiperr requests permission to read the images (and, if you enable video support, the videos) on your device. This access is used solely to:

All media is read directly from your device's local media library and processed entirely on your device. No media, thumbnails, or metadata ever leave your device.

Deletion

Items you mark for deletion are only removed after you confirm the deletion in a dialog shown by the Android operating system itself. Swiperr cannot delete anything without this system-level confirmation. Depending on your device, deleted items may be moved to the system trash rather than removed permanently.

Settings

Your in-app preferences (sort order, size filter, color scheme, and video support toggle) are stored locally on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.

Children's privacy

Swiperr does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app contains no third-party content, purchases, or external links.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes (for example, if a future version of the app adds functionality that affects privacy), the updated policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date before the change takes effect.
